We encourage you to take ownership for your well-being in the community. If a conflict emerges, we encourage you to speak with your roommate. If you need help with a difficult discussion, your RA can help facilitate the discussion and resolve the issue.

Our Hall Directors are also prepared to help when conflicts occur. If you need help beyond your Hall Director, you can contact Residence Education at ResidenceEducation @umich.edu. As an additional support, the Housing Support & Community Responsibility (HSCR) team is reachable at HSCRprocess @umich.edu. They are here to support you while you work to resolve conflicts. The team is made up of professionals and students who promote restorative justice on campus through the Community Circle Program.
